grew up in germany with vietnamese parents. never fully german, never fully vietnamese. always somewhere in between. for a long time that felt weird. now it's just how it is. and it makes me better at this.
studied product design before tattooing. started in 2020. at some point i figured out that tattooing isn't really about the image. it's about the trust someone puts in you when they say: put something on me that stays forever.
when someone lets you tattoo their skin, they hand you something really personal. i don't take that lightly.
— Myzu, Foundercharacters, scenes, feelings from japanese animation. drawn with care and a lot of love for the source material.
clean lines, quiet impact. designed to age well and actually mean something to the person wearing it.
vietnamese, japanese, korean. shaped by contemporary urban culture. where you come from, translated into something new.

Why This Studio Exists
the tattoo scene has beautiful things in it. it also has a lot of ego, pressure, and places where clients feel like the next number in line. i've seen it. i've felt it.
myzu studio exists because i wanted something different. a place where no one feels rushed, judged, or out of place. your background, gender, sexuality, culture: not just tolerated. welcome, for real.
Workshops
not ready for permanent? totally valid. the workshops here let you get close to the process. on your terms, zero pressure.

Hygiene & Materials
everything that touches your skin is EU-approved and personally imported from germany. not a marketing angle. it's just the standard i trained under and trust.
high-purity only. no added fragrance, no irritating additives.
respect for your body. respect for your story. safe for LGBTQ+ clients, for people between cultures, for anyone who wants a tattoo done right. we speak english, vietnamese, and german.
